Austin Brown founder of ABMC (Austin Branding Marketing Creative) is an idea alchemist whose work in multiple industries has created award-winning marketing programs and grown globally recognized brands.

 

For over twenty-five years Austin has cultivated a global network of influential outliers in music, art, film, sports, fashion, technology, culinary and lifestyle culture. This coterie of colleagues—who inevitably become close friends—present a fluent understanding of the specific needs inherent to telling a brand’s origin story and building out a compelling, magnetic narrative that goes beyond what a company sells and amplifies what they stand for and believe. 

 

Austin’s unique combination of autodidactic education and cultivated instinct consistently finds new paths for growth while fiercely respecting, appraising and maintaining relevance to the core audiences that build brands. By elegantly and intelligently navigating the intersection of both art and commerce, Austin reveals insights that lead to curated marketing programs, inspired IP creation, targeted product launches, licensee collaborations, memorable events, advertising and public relations campaigns. With his teams, he strategically designs and deploys these disciplines to positively impact a company’s bottom line and drive exponential scale.

Raised in the culture accelerator of Southern California, Austin is a global traveler that has spent significant time in 100-plus countries with on the ground experience in Tokyo, Dubai, Beijing, Paris, Doha, Bangkok, Berlin, Bahrain, Sydney, Athens, Seoul, Taipei, Auckland, Montreal, London, Kandahar & Milan. His ability to see the micro and target the macro through an understanding of both domestic and global retail landscapes is fueled by a passion for converging with local culture, identifying unique operational challenges, and crafting opportunities for new strategies that help brands thrive.

 

In addition to his corporate work, Austin has gratefully served on the Board of Directors for several non-profits, including more than a decade with the Festival of Children Foundation which has provided dedicated services and support to the lives of 36+ million children in the United States.
